I had a blend of experiences during my stay at the hotel. The design and ambiance of the space were lovely, creating a charming and welcoming atmosphere. However, the noise from nearby clubs significantly impacted my stay, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. which was disappointing. Overall, while I appreciated the aesthetics and some of the service, the lack of proper acoustic insulation left a bitter taste.
Rooms

I stayed in a Superior Queen Room, which was visually appealing, but the noise levels were unbearable due to the clubs below. I couldn't sleep at all.
Service

The service staff seemed to lack proper training. I had an issue with my room being marked as a no-show, and the follow-up was less than satisfactory. there was visibly little concern.

The hotel's location was convenient for accessing various attractions, though the proximity to clubs created a noisy environment that was tough to overlook.

I appreciated the little touches in the room, like the complimentary welcome drink and free bottle of wine. However, there could have been better amenities, especially regarding air conditioning and parking information.

My stay at The Trade Boutique Hotel was a mix of good experiences and some notable shortcomings. While the beautifully decorated interiors and central location were impressive, the service left room for improvement, particularly in terms of hospitality from the staff. Overall, I appreciated the charming atmosphere and well-equipped room, but the lack of attention to guest needs was a downside.
Rooms
6.0
The Standard Queen Room was beautifully designed but felt a bit cramped. I particularly missed having a vanity area and a full-length mirror, which made getting ready in the morning a challenge. Plus, the bed was smaller than I expected, though it was comfortable enough for my needs.
Service
5.0
The service at the hotel could be more hospitable. I noticed a lack of communication regarding essential details, like parking, and at times, the staff seemed disinterested. For instance, I had to ask about the promised bottle of wine, which should have been offered upon check-in.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to walk to numerous restaurants and attractions around the city. It truly felt like I was in the heart of Cape Town, which added a lot of value to my stay.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was a bit basic, with a small spread that could benefit from better presentation. The pastries were left uncovered, which made them lose their crispiness. However, I did enjoy the hot breakfast options available each morning.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered useful amenities like a kitchenette in the room, and I appreciated the cleanliness and overall aesthetics. Nonetheless, some aspects like the lack of a direct telephone line to reception seemed to detract from the overall convenience.
